On October 5th and 6th, the Northern New England region (which consisted of UNH, BC, NU, and UVM) competed in Pembroke, NH at Pembroke Pines Country Club. The tournament began with a shotgun start at noon on Saturday with the unfortunate news that their maintenance staff was under the weather which delayed the aerification process of the greens which left them sandy and extremely slow. However, the fairways, rough, and tee boxes were in exceptional condition. What seems to be a common theme here in the Northern New England region, **the University of New Hampsire came out on top with a final score of 778**, with Boston College placing second at a final score of 833, and NU finishing at 839, placing them in third place. **The individual results are as follows:** 8) Jackson Walsh- BC (164) 7) Jack Hajec- UNH (163) 6) Andrew Hansen- BC (160) 5) Colin Barnea- UNH (159) 4) Conor McCormack- BC, Regional Coordinator (159) 3) Dan Kish- UNH (154) **2) CJ Konkowski- UNH (151)** **1) Ben Whitaker- UNH (151)** Unfortunately, there was major complaints with the greens--whether it be their condition, or the pin placements. The greens on the back-9 are extremely undulated, and the pins were agreed by most to be unfair. I can vouch for the complaints--they were unreasonable.
