Beaver Creek Golf Course plays 6950 yards with a rating of 73.2 and slope of 131. The weather conditions were sunny with a high of about 75 with a strong wind. On any given shot, the wind could add two clubs. The two teams competing were Louisiana State University and Spring Hill College. LSU was unfortunately forced to withdraw from team play due to the absence of a fifth player, but play went on nonetheless. **The most notable shot of the tournament occurred in the first round when Jesse Redman of Spring Hill College holed out from 165 yards for eagle on hole 4**. The first round concluded with Redman in the lead after shooting a 78 (+6). Redman recorded the only round under 80 on the first day of play. Matthew Franz and David Kirkman of Spring Hill College weren’t far behind with 80 (+8) and 82 (+10). The second round’s conditions were almost identical to the first with a slight change in temperature. Despite the strong wind, almost the entire field improved from their first round score. Once again, **Redman came in with the day’s low at 75 (+3) and took first place**. Franz followed close behind in second with a 77 (+5).  The all-tournament team consisted of Jesse Redman (153, +9), Matthew Franz (157, +13), David Kirkman (167, +23), Josh Orsulak (167, +23), Jack Culotta (168, +24), and Jack Sippel (169, +25). **The tournament ran smoothly thanks to the great staff at Beaver Creek Golf Course.** The course was in good condition and the weather was beautiful.
