Where college students go for golf

Topgolf provides free practice for college golfers

By Oliver Mauk

We are excited to announce that Topgolf is now the official practice site of the NCCGA! College students who are part of the National Collegiate Club Golf Association (NCCGA) are able to reserve complimentary practice sessions at Topgolf nationally all year long (restrictions apply). The NCCGA Leadership team has worked hard to secure this partnership which becomes a new and significant benefit of being an NCCGA club golfer. The NCCGA is a property within Nextgengolf, an organization owned and operated by the PGA of America that provides opportunities allowing everyone to play college golf.

“Our organization is happy to provide this benefit to our players and thankful to have Topgolf as a partner for official team practices," said Kris Hart, Senior Director of Nextgengolf. "Some collegiate club golf teams have limited access to facilities and may not be able to afford to practice as often as they would like. This program certainly showcases how Topgolf is giving back to the game and helping the next generation of players.”

Topgolf free college practice

Topgolf has a long history helping in their local communities by inviting high school golf teams as well as charities supporting youth mentorship and leadership and empowerment to play at Topgolf for free as part of their Youth Play It Forward initiative. If you are a college student looking to take advantage of the complimentary practice sessions, you will need to first join the NCCGA and be part of an official club golf team. After registered with the NCCGA, you can sign-up for a practice session at your local Topgolf.
