But not far up the road you’ll find Raleigh and rest of the Triangle region, consisting of a vast array of golf courses, from private to public. The Triangle is home to several top-notch collegiate facilities, as well as many other courses that provide a bang for the buck. ## Lonnie Poole Home to North Carolina State University golf team, the signature Arnold Palmer design offers golfers of all abilities a great test. With views of downtown Raleigh and a course that stretches over 7300 yards, golfer of all abilities will find the course challenging and enjoyable. Lonnie Poole features everything from a great practice facility to full restaurant onsite. **[Golf Tournaments in Raleigh for 18-34 Year Olds](http://www.nextgengolf.org/golf-tournaments-raleigh)** ## Pine Hollow Golf Club Home to the annual Wake County Amateur, Pine Hollow features some of the regions best new Bermuda greens. At just over 6500 yards from the back tees, Pine Hollow demands accuracy off the tee and a stellar short game. Tobacco Road, one of Mike Strantz’s world famous designs, features everything from drivable par 4s, blind approaches, and tons of elevation change. Tobacco Road is consistently ranked on “Top courses to play” and “Must play courses” by many of golf’s top magazines. ## Finley Golf Course Home to the University of North Carolina, Finley is frequently ranked one of North Carolina’s top collegiate courses by the North Carolina Golf Panel. The back tees at Finley have provided a true test for the ACC’s best and has also hosted several Carolinas Golf Association qualifiers over the years. Finley is open to the public 7 seven days a week. Finley has been host to the NCCGA and will also be hosting one of Raleigh’s four Nextgengolf City Tour events this summer.
