Just when you think you’ve seen some great golf on the Nextgengolf City Tour, something awesome happens to make you readjust your thinking. This past weekend we held seven tournaments across most of the country. Let’s check in and see how the various cities faired this week, and which teams took the next step towards clinching their bid to the National Championship at Cog Hill. And if you haven't joined the Nextgen City Tour yet this season, there's still time. We have 19 tournaments left all across the country.

Dallas - Tour 18 Golf Club

The Baylor team got a strong test this weekend eeking out a victory with a winning score of +2 (146) where the teams of Jesuit and Oklahoma State University came in tied for second at +3 (147). Best round of the day came from Jimmy Kirwan with a solid 75.

Boston - South Shore CC

Once again the team of Northeastern Huskies took home the top prize shooting a +1 (145) for a six stroke victory over the team of Wu Tannahs (must be an inside joke). Nextgen’s own Kris Hart took home individual medalist honors shooting a +2 (74) followed closely by Evan Paskalis with a +5 (77). The duo of Mark Monday and Alec Shanahan shot an even par round of 72 and just goes to show that anything can happen in best ball (Alec was T-3 and Mark was T-21 individually).

NYC - Harbor Links

Team Big Booty must really their likes big putts and cannot lie because they beat out the teams of Never Lay Up and Bush Is Back to take a six stroke victory 143 to 149. And special shout out to Spencer Savitz from Rocketballzier for the low round of the day with a +3 (75).

Houston - BlackHorse GC

The Houston Caddy Club must have had a homefield advantage because their top pairing of James Rayner and Cat Herrera posted a -2 (70) which was four shots clear of the duo of Justin Desilets and Scott Vandermeulen. The Caddy Club came in with a +1 (145) to beat out High Glass at +9 (153).

Columbus - Golf Club of Dublin

Not to be forgotten is the powerhouse of Ohio, the Dayton Double Bogeys, who posted an awesome team score of -6 (138) to run away with the team victory by eight strokes over the West Virginia squad. Leading the way were Ben Hogenkamp and Kyle Murphy firing a blistering -5 (67) beating out teammates Jeff Davison and Sam Schmeizer who tied with Alan Kolovich and Dan Haller with -1 (71)

Philly - Downingtown CC

Coming out on top were Jack Benotti and Matt Hahn each firing a +2 (74) to fend off Ryan Lountzis +4 (76) and Kyle Plusch +5 (77)
