The weather stayed in the low 70s with a slight breeze, perfect golfing weather. Adams Pointe tipped out at about 6,800 yards and demanded some length on a few of the holes. It was a very well laid out course which had rolling hills and cut through a forest on the front nine. The conditions were very wet from a previous downpour days before the tournament which caused a few plugged balls and slowed play both days. Overall though the course played tough but fair. **Missouri’s A-team came out on top shooting a combined team score of 785**, beating out Missouri’s B-team who took second place by 26 strokes. **Rick Weber (Missouri) and David Stein (Iowa State) combined individual low score of 148**. The course was unavailable for an official playoff so David Stein was determined the tournament medalist by a scorecard playoff. The first NCCGA Central Regional of the year was a success at Adams Pointe Golf Club.
