Fall 2019 Nationals heads to Oklahoma

By Oliver Mauk

The NCCGA and Nextgengolf are happy to announce that we will be headed to the great state of Oklahoma for Fall 2019 Nationals! Both the Invitational and Championship will take place November 15-17th, so be sure to mark your calendars. This edition of Nationals will be a nice change of pace from recent years and a new, unique experience for NCCGA players.

The WinStar Golf Club at the WinStar World Resort & Casino will host the National Championship on its two stellar golf courses. The Redbud and Scissortail courses were both designed by five time PGA Tour winner D.A. Weibring and the layouts are unlike any golf destination you've seen. The courses are nestled between rugged blackjack oak trees and surrounded by the sandy shores of the Red River. WinStar is also rated 5th on Golf Digest's best places you can play in Oklahoma.  We can't wait for you to see this unique golf paradise. Dornick Hills Cliff Hole (1)

The National Invitational will be played just down the road at Dornick Hills Country Club, a former PGA Tour host site from the mid 1950's and a course with a ton of history in Oklahoma. It's signature 16th "Cliff Hole" is one of the most unique par 5's you'll ever play, with the green sitting atop a rock formation 50 feet above the fairway.

The courses are both located just across the border from Texas and are approximately a 1.5 hour drive from the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. We are incredibly excited to show off these two great venues and look forward to another great season of NCCGA Club Golf this fall!
