Joining a golf league in DC

Joining a golf league provides the opportunity to make friends on the course, work on your game, and compete in a fun and friendly atmosphere. If you are looking to join a golf league in DC we thought it would be helpful to share some different league options based on some research in the DC area. If you are looking to join a golf league this summer as a way to get out on the course and enjoy a weekly game with new friends, below highlights 4 different options:

GolfDC – GolfDC which is hosted at East Potomac Golf Course is the best option in DC for golf leagues. The golf course is located right in the heart of the city and is an easy location to get to if you are working in The District. GolfDC offers a variety of golf leagues in DC including leagues for championship players, intermediate players, beginners and even juniors. Most of the leagues take place between 4-5pm on Sundays and Mondays. Here is some more information on the GolfDC leagues 

University of Maryland Golf Course - UMD is not only a great campus and college, they have one of the best campus golf courses in the country. In the spring, they have a twilight golf league which is a 2-person best ball format on Tuesday nights with tee times starting at 4pm. City Tour Champs 2018

Nextgengolf DC City Tour – Nextgengolf offers team-based golf opportunities for adults 21+ in Charlotte. There are monthly events that take place throughout the summer at different golf courses within 45 minutes of DC. There are no membership fees, no handicaps needed and the tournaments are held at high end courses such as The Country Club of Woodmore. All swings are welcome in the best ball or scramble formats. Rasberry Falls Golf Course - Raspberry Falls is a course located a bit west of DC in Leesburg. This course is a semi-private facility that offers memberships and is open to the public. The course is known for their ladies league which is hosted on a weekly basis and open to anyone including non-members. The league takes place on Wednesdays and Sundays and the cost is $40 annual dues, $30 handicap fee, and a $35 fee for greens fees at the course each week. Learn more about the RFLGL league.
