Seven different regions tee it up Saturday and Sunday in the second to last tournament weekend of the Fall 2017 NCCGA season. With all five zones still up for grabs, there will certianly be a lot of attention paid on the regional scores over the next two week.  We look forward to seeing who will be competing on December 2nd and 3rd. 

The following 14 teams have already secured a spot in the #PartyAtPaiute

Georgia (Defending Champs), Mizzou, Virginia, Illinois, Indiana, Yale, Providence, Niagara, New Hampshire, Wisconsin, Tulsa, Villanova, Baylor and Minnesota!

Central

Mizzou enters the weekend looking to keep their central winning streak alive. During the first regional, Kansas came somewhat close to knocking Mizzou off after trailing by only four shots following round one. Mizzou currently holds the top spot in Zone #3 with Kansas coming in as the number three ranked team.

Atlantic

The Atlantic Region will be playing their first tournament of the semester this weekend at Toftrees Golf Resort in State College. The University of Pittsburgh comes into the weekend as the favorite, as they have made it to nationals each of the last 9 semesters. This past spring the region was much more competitive than it has ever been, Pitt came in third place in the first regional but was able to rebound in the second tournament to barely secure a spot at Hot Springs. The Atlantic feeds into Zone #2 for nationals qualification where Villanova, Delaware A, Michigan and Delaware B hold the top 4 spots.

NCCGA Week 3 Preview

Central

The University of Missouri has dominated the Central Region for the past 10 regional tournaments. Looking to win their 11th straight regional this weekend at Deer Creek Golf Club in Overland Park, KS. Mizzou’s roster includes defending Nationals medalist Dillon Eaton who claimed the Spring 2017 title at Hot Springs after shooting rounds of 66-75. Evan Hussey of Saint Louis University and David Lee-Tolley of Washington University have also taken trips to the National Championship in Fall 2016 and Spring 2016, respectively. Missouri State, Truman State and University of Kansas round out the region.
