Where college students go for golf

On April 5 and 6 six teams met in Edmond, Oklahoma to determine the NCCGA Texas Regional Champ. The players competed on a very challenging Coffee Creek GC. The course is notorious for incredibly fast greens, and this proved true as nearly all players experience a 3 or 4 putt.

The NCCGA Northeast started the season off at The Links at Hiawatha Landing on Saturday April 5.

The Spartans jumped out to an early lead in the race to nationals through the midwest with a dominating performance at Eagle Eye.

The North Region of the National Collegiate Club Golf Association (NCCGA) began it’s inaugural season of competition, and the Wisconsin Badgers walked away after the weekend with strong momentum as the team looks for it’s third consecutive berth to NCCGA Nationals.

It was quite a weekend for the NCCGA Atlantic’s first regional tournament at Birdsfoot Golf Course in Freeport, PA.

SAVOY, Ill. – The season’s first Great Lakes regional tournament brought some drama, a tight finish, and an eventual sudden death playoff for the medalist position.

Hello bracketologists! I am coming to you live from the Hampton Inn in Jefferson City, Missouri this morning as we in the NCCGA Central will be competing in the first round of our second regional tournament at Eagle Knoll Golf Course later today.

Anywho, on to the important stuff...

The Atlantic region, one that has been dominated by Pitt over the past two semesters and especially this past semester; with no team coming within 17 shots.

April 5^th/6^th; Savoy, IL – This weekend’s first NCCGA Great Lakes Regional looks to be an exciting tournament played by talented veteran teams and excited newcomers alike.

With the snow just melted, the eyes of the midwest are already staring toward Sussex County, New Jersey, for the 2014 spring nationals at Ballyowen.

The New England Region of the NCCGA kicked off the season on March 29, 2014 at Triggs Memorial Golf Course in Providence, Rhode Island.

Since I left you last, I had given my predictions for the Sweet Sixteen... Since then, the Florida Gators and Wisconsin Badgers have punched their tickets to the Final Four in Dallas!

This past weekend of play in the NCCGA brought some of the best golf we have seen all season, with the Florida, Colonial and North Carolina regions all playing their first tournament of the semester.
