Fall 2017 NCCGA Season Awards

The NCCGA saw some of the best scores in history during this year's fall season, both at nationals and in regional tournaments. Throughout the season we highlighted top weekly performances with player and team of the week awards. After the season is complete we like to showcase players and teams that stood out in their performances. Below you will find the Fall 2017 NCCGA Season Awards, congratulations to all of our winners. 


Most Improved Player

Awards details: The Oxford Most Improved Player is an award to honor the golfer in the NCCGA that most improves their total score from regional tournament #1 to #2. The winner will be the player with the highest improvement.

The 18Birdies Rookie Team of the Season

Awards details: The 18Birdies Rookie Team of the Season is an award to honor the top new club team. The award will be given out to the highest ranked team according to the NCCGA’s Team Rankings (view rankings) at the end of the season that hasn’t competed before.

"A Cut Above" Award, sponsored by Chef's Cut Real Jerky

Awards details: The ‘A Cut Above’ award is given to the final team and individual that qualifies for the NCCGA Nationals. The award recognizes the team and player that finished ‘A Cut Above’ and is sponsored by Chef’s Cut Real Jerky.

The Cleveland Golf All NCCGA Teams

Awards details: The Cleveland Golf All-NCCGA first and second team is an award to honor the top golfers in the NCCGA. The award will be based on end of season player rankings. Eight golfers will be named to the first team, and eight to the second team.

Srixon Golf Player of the Season

Awards details: The Srixon Golf Player of the Season is an award to honor the top golfer in the NCCGA. The award will be given out to the highest ranked individual according to the NCCGA’s Player Rankings (view rankings) at end of season.

Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday Team of the Season

Awards details: The Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday team of the Season is an award to honor the top club golf team in the NCCGA. The award will be given out to the highest ranked team according to the NCCGA’s Team Rankings (view rankings) at the end of the season.
