The last tournament in the Mountain region for the year was at Thorncreek Golf Club in Thornton, Colorado. Both days of the tournament were cold, with a high of around 48 degrees. Only two teams showed up: Air Force Academy and Colorado School of Mines. There were 12 players total, all of who were extremely competitive and ready to play! The blue tees played at 6,698 yards with a rating of 71.8 and a slope of 128, and the red tees played at 5,547 yards with a rating of 72.2 and a slope of 130. The course was extremely difficult yet beautiful.

In the first round, Michael McNulty, sophomore from Colorado School of Mines, shot 75 and was the leader with four strokes and was followed closely by freshman Jennifer Kim from the Air Force Academy. Colorado School of Mines was in the lead in the first day, with a total of 404 strokes and the Air Force Academy was in second with a total of 453.

On the second day, the weather was chilly and the sun never came out. It was another chilly Colorado day, not quite winter but definitely close to ski season. Michael McNulty kept the lead on the second day with a low round of 70 (-2) and Jennifer Kim came close with her score of 74. Five people shot in their seventies on the second day. In the end, Colorado School of Mines won the tournament with a second day score of 394, totaling to 798.
