Below are three lessons I learned through my internship with the Foundation this summer. ## Proper etiquette isn’t required just on the golf course Professionalism is an art form, and is something that must be practiced at all times. Whether you are at home or at work you are always building your brand and serve as a representative for whomever you may work for. The little things such as saying “yes sir” and holding doors carry a lot of weight in today’s day and age. To stay ahead of the game, early mornings and late nights are often required. Being social and meeting other professionals will always be beneficial to you. Who knows, that guy sitting on the plane next to you may be the CEO of the company of your dreams. At the Tiger Woods Foundation, building a better tomorrow is at the top of their to-do list. Whether it be charitable giving or teaching valuable life lessons, the Tiger Woods Foundation is making a difference in thousands of lives. The summer that I spent working with this organization is something that I will never forget and the life lessons that were taught are priceless and always will be. ## Tiger Woods Foundation Facts • Since its inception in 1996 by Tiger Woods and his father, Earl, the Tiger Woods Foundation has reached millions of young people by delivering unique experiences and innovative educational opportunities for youth worldwide. • With the support of the Earl Woods Scholarship Program, scholars are able to make their dreams of going to college a • Since its inception in 2003, the Championship has generated more than $24 million for the Tiger Woods Foundations programs and local New England-area charities. • The Deutsche Bank Championship and the Tiger Woods Foundation supports many local New England charities such as: Towns of Mansfield & Norton, the First Tee of Massachusetts, the Red Sox Foundation, The Hockomock area YMCA, the Norton/Attleboro YMCA, Golf Fights Cancer, and the Greater Boston Food Bank. ***\*\*Tim Sullivan is a Sophomore at Providence College and Intern at Nextgengolf.
