Best driving ranges in Milwaukee

By Oliver Mauk

If you are looking for a good place to practice or don’t know where to hit balls, the below information showcases some of the best driving ranges in the Milwaukee area. If you are looking for a driving range that offers lessons, want to hit balls at night or are a golf snob who will only use grass ranges, the below information on the best driving ranges in Milwaukee should be helpful for you.

1) Storm's Golf Range

16210 W Wisconsin Ave, Brookfield, WI 53005 - $7-$18 per bucket

Storm's is Southeastern Wisconsin's largest golf practice facility. It includes natural grass tees, multiple chipping greens and sand traps, a well kept putting green and brand new range balls every year! If you are dedicated to getting as much practice in as possible this is a great spot, however it lacks in other amenities like a clubhouse with food and drink so don't expect to enjoy a meal and a beverage here.

2) Tee-Aire Golf Range

21700 Gumina Rd, Brookfield, WI 53072- $5-$10 per bucket

This is an all-natural and organic driving range and their grass teeing stations are always open. It's also a self served range, so if talking to people isn't your thing this is a great spot to head. They also have a mini-golf course at the facility, so feel free to brink the kiddos!

3) Tee it Up Driving Range

20101 W Cleveland Ave, New Berlin, WI 53146 - Price N/A

This is a family owned and operated driving range and clubhouse, under new ownership as of September-2018. They reopened after a full remodel in August of 2019. There aren't many frills to be had here, it's just a flat out good practice facility to get some good swings in.

4285 S Sunnyslope Rd. New Berlin, WI 53151 - Price $8-$12 per bucket

This facility is truly unlike any other. Located just southwest of Milwaukee in New Berlin, The Practice Station offers TrackMan Simulators, 7 mini stations and 3 practice holes and a Trackman driving range making it one of the best driving ranges in Milwaukee. This one of a kind place allows you to practice situations you probably have not before like hitting narrow tee shots, over or through trees, and over water. This is the place for the sticky situations you find yourself in on the course. With plans to add another TrackMan Simulator, The Practice Station will be full service for years to come!
