Indoor Golf: 5 Places to Play Around Raleigh

If you want to enjoy some beers while getting some swings in, if the weather isn't cooperating, or you just don't feel like heading to the course it's nice to have the option to play some indoor golf around the greater Raleigh area.  Below are a few of the best places to get some swings in.


1) Dogwood Country Club

Powered by TrackMan, Dogwood's indoor golf simulation technology puts over 60 championship courses from all across the world at your fingertips. Simulators can all be booked by the hour. They also the only place around with a PuttView augmented reality putting green. Work on green reading, pace, and putting under pressure.

2) GolfTEC Cary

GolfTEC is primarily known for golf lessons, but they also have the opportunity for golfers to get fit and play and practice indoors. If you are looking to improve your game and get in some swings during the off-season or when the weather is poor, you can check out GolfTEC, which has 2 different locations in the Raleigh area. GolfTEC provides you with access to advanced golf training technology including motion measurement and video analysis. GolfTEC also has a pretty neat tool called the Clubhouse which offers an online tool for accessing all your golf lessons, Coach notes and instruction, suggested drills as well as the ability to schedule future lessons and practice.

3) Drive Shack

Drive Shack offers a similar experience to what you might receive at Topgolf. It's technically not indoors, but under inclement weather all the hitting bays are heated and covered. Drive Shack is a great place to gather for a social game as well, with plenty of food and drinks available for all. 

4) Lonnie Poole Golf Course

It is warm in their player development suite! Starting January 1, you can rent a bay for $50/hour (two person max) for simulated play or practice time. They are also offering a limited-time simulation package of 12 hours for just $300! (A $600 value.) This offer is only available to the first 50 people to sign up, so act fast! 

5) Golftec Raleigh

For golfers northwest of Raleigh and southeast of Durham looking for golf lessons, golf instruction or a custom club fitting, GOLFTEC North Raleigh is the answer. At their state-of-the-art Training Center, you’ll find all the tools you need to help you improve your golf game.
