When they started becoming prevalent, I was skeptical and wanted nothing to do with them.  I was stuck in my old ways of pacing off yardage from sprinkler heads, using pin-sheets when available and going with my gut on certain shots.

2017 City Championship Recap

Twenty-three teams traveled from 13 cities across the country to make up the 120 person field at the 3rd annual City Championship this past weekend in Myrtle Beach.  The bothing hosting courses, True Blue and Caledonia, were in prime shape and posed a unique challenge for both the Scramble and Best Ball Divisions. True Blue's five par 5s and five par 3s made for a great team based venue. The beauty and difficulty of Caledonia brought a different flavor for the players; demanding more precise shots and resulting in slightly higher scores.

And for a radio-style media channel, it's not just the older population that's listening, actually, quite the contrary. In a recent   survey conducted by LinkedIn , 42% of their millennial users are listening to podcasts. So how does this relate to golf? Well, golf is often criticized for being out of touch with younger generation, it's encouraging to see that industry leaders are evolving and providing content through golf podcasts.
