Adapting to a new generation of golfers

Proof extends beyond the product: Athletes are getting involved with this jerky company

By Mike Devlin

Athletes have countless companies that come to them in hopes of landing a sponsorship or partnership. Aside from the monetary benefits, these players often want a company that has products that align with their brand and vice versa. With the number of athletes that have partnered up with Chef's Cut Real Jerky it truly shows the strength that this brand has come to hold in the sports community.

If you haven't tried their jerky before, trust us that the product speaks for itself. The jerky has less of that dry and tough consistency, plus it comes in a bunch of unique flavors. It makes sense why athletes would find interest in a company like this to represent. Some people see jerky as a bad thing, but it's actually a great snack for athletes. The low carbohydrate and high protein composition makes for a great pre and post workout bite to help with recovery.

Chef's Cut has partnerships with some big name athletes such as Von Miller and David Ortiz but have also begun making a splash in the golf world. Professional golfer Kyle Reifers and recently added Srixon Tour Pro Ryan Brehm fit in well with a company who's co-founders have strong ties with the sport.

"Golf if a game of stamina and keeping energy levels up on the course is important," said Brehm. "I loved the taste of Chef's Cut the first time I tried it – and a high protein snack is exactly what I need on the course to play my best and keep my mind focused. And once I realized Chef's Cut was created by a fellow MSU golfer and grad – I knew I had to get more involved with the company." Brehm stated in May

Don't expect this to be the last stamp Chef's Cut has on the sports world. Look out for them going forward and give them try next time you see it in a store or online.
