Driving into the Resort at Glade Springs in Daniels, West Virginia, one cannot help but see how beautiful the 4100 acres are with 3 championship courses and a picturesque clubhouse. The facility has played host to many prestigious tournaments, including the NCAA Men's Championship, USGA Men's Amateur, US Open Qualifiers, PGA Tour Qualifiers, and now the Spring 2016 NCCGA National Championship. The top 256 club golfers will take on Glade Springs' two challenging, yet unique, courses. It's sure to be a great venue to crown the newest club golf champions.

NCCGA golfers competed across 28 regions this spring to earn bids to the season’s ending championship, with several more playing well enough to wildcard bids. The tournament field consists of students representing 50 colleges, and 24 states, spanning from Southern California all the way to Boston.

Players will be competing on the Stonehaven and Cobb courses throughout the weekend. The Cobb, the original of the courses at the resort, was designed by George Cobb who also designed the par 3 course at Augusta National. The Cobb has less terrain changes compared to the Stonehaven and has massive greens, something that will test the skills of all championship competitors.

The Stonehaven course has some of the most stunning views from many of the tee boxes. Elevation changes are a plenty, and accurate tee shots are critical to stay out of the tall trees lining the holes. This course will be test even the most accurate drivers off of the tee.

Both courses will provide a worthy challenge to the best club golfers in the NCCGA. All the festivities begin on Friday, April 22nd at the annual kickoff party. Thanks to all the staff at Glade Springs for their hardwork over the past weeks and this weekend, for helping make this event what we know is gonna be a huge success.
