During an 18-hole round of golf, it's natural to get a little hungry. After all, playing golf burns a lot of calories (especially when walking the round). You have the correct club in hand, and all eyes are on you. You step up to the ball and take dead aim at the green. While all this is happening, you are already thinking ahead to the high-fives and trash talk after you sink the putt and walk away with a birdie.
Most of the golfing world did not know who Smylie Kaufman until yesterday after his win at the Shiners. We were lucky enough to meet Smylie earlier this year when the NCCGA received a donation from Smylie to help support the LSU Club Golf team after they made it to their first NCCGA National Championship this spring at Bryan Park in Browns Summit, NC.

Every pair of golf shoes tells a story. It can be a good story, such as the time you shot your first hole-in one. Or a bad story, such as the 105 you shot in a tournament, and the time you fell in the water hazard trying to take a risky shot. Whatever the story, sometimes it's time to move on if the shoes are ripped, worn-out, caked in mud, or just have too many bad memories.
