Adapting to a new generation of golfers

Players on the PGA Tour have been known to make some interesting style choices over the years. From the bold wardrobe choices of Rickie Fowler and John Daly, to the unusual technique of lining up putts employed by Camilo Villegas, players do not seem to resist the spotlight.

Which is all the more reason that it is surprising no one regularly plays a colored ball on tour. Though many regularly mark their golf balls with dots, lines and letters, very few pros deviate from the traditional white golf balls.

To those unfamiliar with the intricacies of the game of golf, it may seem like a dull, humorless sport. However, over the years advertisers have been able to look beyond old men wearing knickers and funny hats to take a humorous view of the game. Afterall, golf teaches players important lessons about building character while maintaining composure which can easily translate to real life.

During an 18-hole round of golf, it's natural to get a little hungry. After all, playing golf burns a lot of calories (especially when walking the round). The 2016 City Tour Championship at Seaview Golf Resort in Atlantic City is quickly approaching. Through three tournaments, some teams have already started punching their tickets for the event. The championship will give players from across the country the opportunity to compete in the Best Ball or Scramble formats to take home the respective titles.
